Turkish / Caucasian carpets
High-quality hand-knotted carpets have always come from the Caucasus and Turkey. Both regions can look back on a centuries-old tradition of carpet production. The mostly geometrically patterned carpets may not necessarily reach the luxurious and highest standard of well-known Persian carpets from Nain or Tabriz, but they are still excellent carpets that are ideal for everyday use.
