Product information " Kashguli"
Persian Gabbeh Kashguli
This carpet was knotted by the Qashqai nomads in the Zagros Mountains in south-west Iran. The nomads use a local greasy wool. The wool is hand-twisted and dyed with vegetable dyes. The weft and warp of these high-quality nomadic rugs are made of wool. Gabbeh rugs are traditional tribal rugs. The word Gabbeh comes from the Persian and means "natural".
