Product information "Persian Gabbeh Beuer Ahmad"
This rug was knotted by Qashqai nomads in the Zagros Mountains in south-west Iran. The nomads use a local wool rich in fat, the wool is hand-twisted and dyed with vegetable dyes. The weft and warp of these high-quality nomadic rugs are made of wool. The Gabbeh rugs are traditional tribal rugs. The word Gabbeh comes from the Persian and means natural.
