Hand-knotted in Iran vintage patchwork

The patchwork rugs have been assembled in Iran from selected pieces of Persian rugs, some have been dyed in matching colours, the pieces are sewn together. The back of the rug is covered with a kilim; the whole rug has been edged by hand and is stable and perfectly finished. In this way, a new work of art with its own character is created from several individual pieces.
