Persian Turkmen, embroidered
This unique piece comes from the collection of a Turkmen tribal leader of the Yomud, "Sari Satalagh Khan", an old and rare weaving technique based on the Yomud and Göklan patterns. The back of the rug is embroidered with the same woollen threads.
