Birdjand Iran Special size with silk.
In the town of Birdjand, south of the province of Khorasan, these carpets are knotted with great precision, mostly very well-maintained pieces with a fine knot, in wool and silk. The design is inspired by the Herati motif, with or without a medallion, sometimes with a garden motif. 
Age: 30 - 50 years
Condition/Maintenance: perfect
Knots: 200.000 - 250.000 m2
