Product information "Keschan cork signed "

Persian Keshan cork wool fine, antique, signed Panahi
This carpet was hand-knotted in central Persia. The carpets of high quality and long tradition since the Safavid period usually show a medallion design on a floral ground, but there are also variations. Keshan carpets can be found in many European courts. The city of Keshan was an important transit point due to its location between Isfahan and Tehran, on the Silk Road, not far from the great Dasht-e-Kavir desert.
