Product information "Semnan"
fine Persian Semnan, cork wool with silk
The city of Semnan, north of Tehran, is known for its exquisite pieces that are occasionally found and belong to the past. These fine specimens can sometimes be confused with Ghom rugs because of their fine decorative patterns. The pile is short and dense and the weave is excellent, so that these unique pieces are very well preserved through time.
