One of the best Persian knotted rugs is the original Bidjar, this piece is a splendid specimen and comes from Tekab. This special size rug has been knotted with the best local cork wool. The unique knotting technique, the so-called wet knotting The shorter the pile is shorn at the end, the more valuable the Bidjar and the more beautiful its lustre.
